How has Gems positively impacted you?
Aggie Gems has single-handedly shaped my college experience. From joining as a freshman, to serving as one of the Service Chairs, one of the Sisterhood Chairs, and now as President is so special. My favorite part about Aggie Gems is how unique each member is - there truly are no 2 girls that are the same! Every member contributes to what makes Gems, Gems and this organization would not be the same without them. I am excited to grow as a leader this upcoming year, grow in my relationships with other Gems, and make the most of my last year in college! I LOVE GEMS!
I am truly so grateful for Aggie Gems and the community I’ve gained the past 3 years. The girls are what makes Gems so special; everyone is unique, kind, and SOO funny. I have never felt so accepted, encouraged, and understood, and through this I’ve been pushed to grow as a person into my best self. It has been incredible serving as a Mind & Body Officer and Historian these past two years, and I am so honored to be Vice President for this upcoming year!
As Vice President, I want to keep building on what made me fall in love with this org in the first place: making sure every girl who walks through the door feels like she’s found her people. I’m so proud of how far we’ve grown, and I cannot wait to pour into this next group of Gems alongside such an incredible exec and officer team this year!!
I love Gems so much that it leaves me speechless except not really because I could talk forever about this organization!! I can confidently say that I would not be the person I am today without all of the wonderful Gems who have supported me and encouraged me to be the best version of myself throughout these last three years. Gems has watched me grow up since I was a little freshman and I hope I am so grateful for the opportunity to give back to the organization that has given me so much. I am so lucky to be nostalgic over so many laughs, conversations, and memories that I share with everyone in Gems and I will treasure all of those moments forever and ever and ever and ever. This organization has some of the coolest, funniest, most driven, most awesome people I’ve ever met and I am SOOOO super excited to see what this year has in store!!
It has been such a pleasure being an Aggie Gem the past 2 years. I had the absolute HONOR and privilege to work as a social chair last year, and this year I am lucky enough to be the Historian amongst the amazing exec team.
I love Aggie Gems so dearly, and what has always drawn me in is the diversity in our organization. Everyone has walked different paths of life, has niche and unique hobbies, are studying different majors, differ in what they want to do in the future, see the glass as half full or half empty, but still we have such a strong, loving community that promotes girls to become best friends with someone who they would have never crossed paths with without Gems. I am so SO grateful to call these girls my friends. Gems are funny, beautiful, kind, original, light-hearted, silly, professional, shy, outgoing, and so many other things. I will never be able to put into words how much I love Aggie Gems, but I am honored to be someone who gets to experience my college years and beyond alongside them.
